Title: The Road from Despair to Solvency: Insight, Support and Hope
Speaker: Sharon Miller, Owner/President of ITH Staffing of Michigan, LLC

Experiencing crises is inevitable during a lifetime. For Sharon Miller, owner of several small businesses across the U.S. over some 37 years, the ultimate challenge has been in the form of financial distress. She knows all too well the impact that financial downturn can have not only on the business, but the personal physical, mental and emotional toll it can take, as well.

Drawing on her new book, The Road from Despair to Solvency, Sharon will relate her personal story of confronting the trauma and stress of conducting business in 'less than favorable" economic conditions. She will share the life lessons gained through her experiences, and the avenues of action which led her to a positive result of restored calm, confidence, and a sense of personal and professional satisfaction.

Sharon's hard-won knowledge is being put to good use. In addition to her new book, Sharon has served on the White House Conference on Small Business, the Board of Directors of National Small Business United and the Small Business Association of Michigan, as well as a number of local professional and civic organizations.
