Women in Leadership Mid Michigan members Lisa Grills, executive director of the YWCA, and Beth Kloesner, president and founder of Girls2Women Coaching, were recently mentioned in an article published by the Bay City Times on Sunday, August 7 about the new Women's Resource Center that is inside the Great Lakes Bay Region YWCA. Grills and Kloesner will be teaching community education classes to help women better themselves at home and and work. Grills will be teaching the Getting Ahead Curriculum, a 12-week class that is a combination of self-examination and economic education. Grills attended a workshop in
Nashville to become a certified instructor for the program, which came
out of the Ruby Payne book, “Bridge Out of Poverty.” Kloesner will teach a workshop titled "Being a Team Player in the Workforce" on the 10 qualities of an effective team player,
conflict resolution, dealing with disruptive behavior and different
personality types. For more information on the Women's Resource Center or participate in either of these workshops, please contact the YWCA at 989-894-9055 or stop in at 723 Washington Ave.

Thank you so much for your open arms, undying support, mentoring, sisterhood and inspiration. Every day my mission is to be of inspiration, provide hope and ask questions that make one pause. WIL has done this very thing for me.
It is short of a miracle what Lisa Grills and the YWCA provides for this community.
I am honored to be a part of both such fine organizations where passionate, intelligent and stong women unite.
Warmly,
Beth Kloesener Quote
