The Future of Education – Reform and Funding


The future of the community is dependent on strong educational opportunities. How can we build support for educational reform in our area? How can we improve efficiencies while maintaining local control? Can education accelerate to meet the needs of tomorrow?

These are some of the questions our panel will address at the August 13 meeting.

Dr. Craig Douglas, Superintendent, Carrollton Schools

Irene Hensinger, Regional Superintendent,  Saginaw Area Catholic Schools

Dr. Jerry Seese, Superintendent, Saginaw Township Schools

Carolyn Wierda, Executive in Residence, SVSU College of Education; superintendent, Bay City Schools (2003-2009)
